This will be the final article posted on this website. Last week’s election results have convinced us that common sense, decency and other highly valued virtues in the past are no longer ruling this country. In fact, they have almost disappeared. Four years ago, Obama promised to fundamentally change America and we think, he has already succeeded. This is now a country where the TAKERS have become a majority and the MAKERS are simply their providers. They will keep on working and pay the taxes for those who have found out that life can be just fine without getting their hands dirty, getting up in the morning to go to work or even having to be worried about the future.
It is amazing to us to witness this transformation in just a few years. If there is anybody who wonders when we will become a socialist country, we have news for them, we are a socialist country. This election has made this very clear for us and there is nothing we can do about it, we just have to accept it. A majority of people in America want their free stuff and they will insist on getting it for the rest of their lives. If anybody wonders when we will reach the financial despair of Greece or Spain, let us enlighten you, we are almost there because while those country’s have the European Union to help out, America does not have someone like that. We are heading at high speed towards bankruptcy and nobody can tell what that will be like.
It is further amazing to us how so many millions of people could not see this and vote Obama out of office. The forty million Catholic voters, the Evangelical voters, the forty million Tea Party voters could not put their votes into the Romney column to make Obama a one-term President. They all loudly opposed his policies for the past three-plus years and yet could not see the consequences of a second term for this person? Amazing is the only word we can think of to explain this.
America’s demographics have changed – we believe – forever and that is the main reason for our ending this site. The America we loved for so many years is gone, it has changed and not for the better and only time will tell what we will be left with. The number of MAKERS will dwindle away while the number of TAKERS will continuously grow and the only suspense remains at what time in the future it will blow up; a time when the entire country will collapse. To where will the TAKERS turn to get their Freebees or will they act like the mobs in Greece and burn buildings down? Let’s just wait and see. So long America.
